To address the need for gaining knowledge and experience concerning glenohumeral joint arthroplasty, a procedure which is becoming more and more common both in orthopedic and traumatic reconstruction surgery, our company organized a one-day cadaver training course for physicians on 23 September and 21 October.
The theoretical part involved a lecture on arthroplasty in glenohumeral joint degenerative changes by Dr. Sławomir Struzik, a lecture on arthroplasty in proximal humerus fracture by Dr. Adam Kosim and a lecture on stemless arthroplasty in degenerative changes and fracture complications by Dr. Grzegorz Kowalczyk. The practical part involved a cadaver workshop.
We trained several dozen people during two editions. Based on the feedback received, the training course proved extremely helpful for the development of professional competencies.
We would like to thank the participants for their enormous engagement, eagerness to share their experience and the wonderful atmosphere. We are glad that our efforts receive such a positive feedback.
